Rīgas vispārizglītojošo skolu jauno pedagogu motivācijas pilnveides iespējas

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs izstrādāts par tēmu ,,Rīgas vispārizglītojošo skolu jauno pedagogu motivācijas pilnveides iespējas’’. Šī darba mērķis ir pētīt jauno pedagogu motivācijas pilnveides iespējas. Latvijas izglītības telpā 40 % pamatskolas skolotāju ir vecāki par 50 gadiem. Šis fakts apliecina nepieciešamību pēc jauniem pedagogiem. Tomēr bieži vien jaunie, kvalificētie pedagogi neuzsāk darbu skolās, vai pamet to pirmajos pedagoģijas prakses gados, neskatoties uz iegūto izglītību. Darbs sastāv no divām daļām – teorētiskās un empīriskās. Teorētiskajā daļā, pamatojoties uz Latvijas un ārvalstu zinātnieku darbiem, tika pētīta motivācijas būtība, pedagogu darba saturs, jauno pedagogu adaptācijas problēma un iespējamie psihoemocionālie riska faktori. Empīriskajā daļā tika aptaujāti 72 jaunie pedagogi un intervēti 3 vispārizglītojošo skolu direktori, un veikta datu analīze. Pēc veiktās datu analīzes, tika secināts, ka pedagoga profesija ir saistīta ar pastāvīgu spriedzi, lielu darba apjomu, netiek pietiekami atalgota, ka arī tās prestižs ir zems. Tikai daļai jauno pedagogu tiek piedāvāts atbilstošs mentoratbalsts. Pamatojoties uz empīriskajā daļā atklātajām problēmām, tika izstrādātas rekomendācijas jauno pedagogu motivācijas pilnveidei. Darba apjoms ir 79 lapas, kas satur 24 attēlus, 2 tabulas, 54 bibliogrāfiskā saraksta vienības un 3 pielikumus. The theme of bachelor thesis is ,,Improvement of Novice Teachers' Professional Motivation in Secondary Schools of Riga’’. About 40% of secondary school teachers are over 50 years old. This fact proves that there is an indispensability of novice teachers in the education sector in Latvia. Notwithstanding, frequently newly-qualified teachers refuse to begin their career in secondary school or drop out during the first years of pedagogical practise. The aim of this thesis is to research the ways of improvement of novice teachers’ professional motivation. The Bachelor Thesis consists of a theoretically explorative part, in which the essence of motivation, duties and responsibilities of a teacher, professional adaptation issue and psycho-emotional aspects are studied; and a practically explorative part, which summarizes and analyses the data from the results of 72 questionnaires and 3 interviews. Based on analysis it was concluded that teaching profession is related to permanent stress, extensive workload, is not adequately remunerated, it has not been seen as a prestige profession. Not all of the novice teachers receive mentorship in the beginning of their career. Based on discovered issues on the topic, comprehensive recommendations for implementation were provided.
