Militārās nozares ietekme uz valsts ekonomiku

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs sniedz ieskatu un veic izpēti par drošības un aizsardzības nozari un Latvijas militārās nozares un tai piešķirtā budžeta attīstību. Valsts drošība un aizsardzība ir viens no valsts pastāvēšanas pamatmērķiem, un šai nozarei piešķirtie līdzekļi ir svarīgs faktors šī mērķa izpildei, kas, protams, ietekmē arī kopējo ekonomisko situāciju. Tāpēc darba mērķis ir noskaidrot kā drošības un aizsardzības nozare ietekmē valsts ekonomiku un kāda situācija ir Latvijā, kā attīstās nozare, un kā mainās tai piešķirtie līdzekļi. Darbā tiek atspoguļotas aktuālās militāro izdevumu tendences, nozares raksturojums un attīstība. Analizēta Latvijas drošības un aizsardzības budžeta pieauguma tendence un nozares attīstība. Tika apskatīts divējādā lietojuma koncepts un izpētīti pastāvošie riski, kā arī veidi kā tos novērst un ierobežot. Tika intervēti nozares eksperti un iegūtās atbildes analizētas, lai noskaidrotu drošības un aizsardzības nozarē esošo situāciju un noskaidrotu veiksmīgākos attīstības scenārijus. Rezultātā tiek izdarīti secinājumi par Latvijas drošības un aizsardzības nozari, tās ietekmi uz valsts ekonomiku, un izteikti priekšlikumi situācijas uzlabošanai. Bakalaura darba apjoms ir 69 lappuses, tas sastāv no 3 nodaļām. Darbā iekļauti 14 attēli, 2 tabulas un 3 pielikumi.

This Bachelor’s paper gives an insight and carries out researches on the security and defense industry, the development of Latvian military sector and its budget. National security and defense are one of the main objectives of the state’s existence, and the resources allocated to this sector are an important factor in achieving this goal, which also affects the overall economic situation. Therefore, the aim of the work is to ascertain how the security and defense industry affects the national economy and what is the situation in Latvia, how the industry is developing. and how the allocated resources change. The work reflects current trend of military expenditures, characteristic and development of the industry. The trend of increasing the budget of Latvia’s security and defense industry and its development has been analyzed. The dual–use concept was examined and existing risks were investigated, as well as ways how to prevent and limit them. Industry experts were interviewed and the answers were analysed in order to find out the current situation of the security and defense industry and to identify the most successful development scenarios for it. As a result, conclusion about the Latvian security and defense industry, its impact on the national economy and proposals to improve the situation are made. Bachelor paper is 69 pages long, it consists of 3 chapters. The work includes 14 pictures, 2 tables and 3 appendixes.
