Maģistra darbā “Mazie ūdensobjekti pilsētvides plānošanā: Dzirciema piemērs Rīgā” ir izstrādāti priekšlikumi mazo ūdensobjektu atjaunošanai pilsētvidē Dzirciemā - lietusūdeņu sateces baseina K-26 teritorijā. Trīs piedāvātie attīstības scenāriji izstrādāti, balstoties uz literatūras un praktisko piemēru analīzi, esošās un vēsturiskās situācijas analīzi, intervijām ar ekspertiem, praktiķiem un interešu grupu pārstāvjiem. Izvērtēta mazo ūdensobjektu funkcionālā nozīme kvalitatīvas un ilgtspējīgas pilsētvides veidošanā. Padziļināti analizētas pētījuma teritorijā esošās senās ūdensteces pēctecību vietas, kuras identificējamas virszemē. Piedāvāti risinājumi mitruma apstākļu stabilizēšanai senās ūdensteces pēctecību vietās, balstoties uz labās prakses piemēriem Latvijā un pasaulē. The three development scenarios proposed are based on analysis of literature and practical examples, analysis of the current and historical situation, interviews with experts, practitioners and stakeholders. The functional role of small water bodies in the development of high-quality and sustainable urban environment was evaluated. Footprints of former watercourses that were identifiable on the ground in the research area were analyzed in detail. Solutions are offered for stabilizing the humidity conditions in the existing sites of former watercourses, based on examples of good practice in Latvia and the world.
