Bakalaura darbā tiek apskatīts globālās pilsētas aspekts un tās spēcīgā ietekmi uz iedzīvotājiem un atsevišķiem indivīdiem, balstoties uz Alfrēda Deblīna romāna “Berlīne. Aleksanderplatca” un Fjodora Dostojevska romāna “Noziegums un sods”. Darba mērķis ir pierādīt, ka iepriekš minētie aspekti ir savstarpēji saistīti un apstiprina darba hipotēzi, ka globālai pilsētas ir nenovēršamas sekas uz cilvēka likteni. Šajā darbā uzsvars tiek likts ne tikai uz šo aspektu īpatnībām, bet arī uz to funkcionalitāti. Bakalaura darbs apstiprina pieņēmumu tam, ka cilvēks ir kļuvis par pilsētas upuri. To apliecina bakalaura darbā aplūkotie Deblīna un Dostojevska romāni. This Bachelor Thesis deals with the aspects of a global city and their strong influence on its population and individuals, based on «Berlin. Alexanderplatz» written by Alfred Döblin and «Crime and Punishment» written by Fedor Dostoewski. The main goal of this work is to prove that all of the abovementioned aspects are in fact linked together and prove the fatal influence the global city had on people. The accent is set not only on the particularities of these aspects, but also on their functionality. The thesis supports the idea of people being victims go the city; on the example of Döblin’s and Dostoewsky’s works it is proven that the influence the city has on its population has a straight connection to their destiny.
