Atriebības pornogrāfija ir jauns fenomens, kurš attīstās līdz ar mūsdienu tehnoloģiju attīstību. Valstij ir uzlikts pienākums aizsargāt indivīda tiesības uz privāto dzīvi. Ar atriebības pornogrāfijas publikāciju šīs tiesības tiek aizskartas un informācija kļūs pieejama neierobežotai auditorijai. Darba ietvaros pētīts atriebības pornogrāfijas jēdziens, tās tiesiskais regulējums dažādās pasaules valstīs un tiesu prakse. Izstrādājot darbu ir izveidotas vairākas rekomendācijas likumu grozījumiem, lai Latvijas Republikas ietvaros tiktu kriminalizēta atriebības pornogrāfija tādējādi kvalitatīvāk aizsargājot personas tiesības uz privāto dzīvi. Revenge pornography is a new phenomenon that develops with the evolution of modern technology. The state has an obligation to protect the privacy of individuals. With the publication of a revenge pornography this right is being violated and information will be made available to unlimited audiences. The research is focused at the concept of revenge pornography, its legal framework in different countries of the world and case law. Several recommendations for amendments to the law have been developed in the course of work, in order to criminalize revenge pornography in the legislation of the Republic of Latvia, thus protecting a person's right to privacy more qualitatively.
