Klīniskā farmaceita loma Latvijas veselības aprūpes sistēmā

Abstract

Profesionāla veselības aprūpes sistēma ir ne tikai sistēmas dalībnieku mērķis, bet visas sabiedrības mērķis. Uzlabojot veselības aprūpes sistēmu, attiecīgi pieaug pacientu aprūpes kvalitāte. Klīniskā farmaceita profesija pēdējos gados pasaulē kļūst pieprasītāka, populārāka un novērtētāka. Tāpēc aktuāli noskaidrot, cik ļoti šie speciālisti tiek iesaistīti Latvijas veselības aprūpes sistēmā, ņemot vērā, ka arī mūsu valstī ir iespējams apgūt šo profesiju. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izvērtēt klīniskā farmaceita potenciāla izmantošanu Latvijas veselības aprūpes sistēmā. Darba rezultātā tika noskaidrots, ka klīniskā farmaceita potenciāls netiek pilnībā izmantots. Klīniskais farmaceits kā pilnvērtīgs veselības aprūpes komandas dalībnieks varētu tikt novērtēts pēc reālas darba uzsākšanas, kas varētu notikt tikai pēc vairākiem gadiem.

A professional health care system is not only the aim of systems participants, but the whole goal for the society. Improving the health care system it takes to increase the quality of the patient care. The profession of clinical pharmacist in the world has become more requested, more popular and more appreciated in last years.. Therefore, it is important to find out, how much these specialists are involved in the Latvian health care system, considering that it is possible to acquire this profession in our constry also. The aim of the Masters thesis is to find out the usage of the clinical pharmacist’s potential in the Latvian health care system. At the end of the work, it was found that the potential of the clinical pharmacist is not fully applied. A clinical pharmacist as a full member of the healtcare team could be evaluated after a real start-up work, which could start only after several years of work.
