Maģistra darba “Parlamenta ietekmes pār izpildvaru attīstība. Latvijas gadījums” mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā kopš Latvijas Republikas neatkarības atjaunošanas ir mainījusies likumdevēja ietekme pār izpildvaru. Tā kā komisijas ieņem centrālo vietu parlamentā, parlamentārā ietekme tiks noteikts caur komisiju darbu Latvijas Republikas Saeimā. Darba empīriskā daļa ir balstīta padziļināto interviju ar Saeimas komisiju pārstāvjiem analīzē un divu politisko jomu kvantitatīvajā analīzē. The goal of the master thesis ‘The development of parliamentary influence over executive. The Case of Latvia The case of Latvia’ is to ascertain how the influence of the legislator on the executive power has changed since the restoration of the independence of the Republic of Latvia. The parliamentary influence will be ascertained through the committee work, considering the centrality of parliamentary committees. The empirical part of this study is based on three deep interviews with committees’ representatives’ analysis, which proves that the executive is in a dominant position over Saeima.
