2.Izzināt fonemātiskos procesus, to attīstīšanas iespējas. The Diploma paper is based on the theme – the development of phonological processes of 1st class students with phonological disorders. The theme was chosen due to the fact that there is an increasing number of primary school students with language disorders. These students have difficulties to acquire reading and writing skills. To help the students to develop these skills it is essential to develop phonemic perception – phonetic notions, phonetic analysis and synthesis. There would be less pupils with such problems in primary classes if the corrective development actions were carried out in time. The aim of the Diploma paper - practical applying of theoretical knowledge about the possibilities of correcting the phonological disorders. To reach the aim of the paper several tasks were put forward: 1)to analyse and collect scientific literature connected with the research problem, 2)to study phonological processes and possibilities to develop them, 3)to analyse the characteristic features of 1st class students’ development and characterise them, 4)to do pedagogical work with 1st class students with phonological disorders, 5)to offer practical advice for parents to develop child’s language development. In the first chapter of the paper the opinions of pedagogues and psychologists about the developmental features of young students are analysed and characterised in wholeness. In the second chapter of the paper the phonological processes in speech therapy are analysed, the reasons of hindering their successful development are searched for. At the end of the chapter the corrective development course of actions for improving the phonological processes are made. In the third chapter a practical research is made using corrective development tasks for improving the phonological processes. During the research the general language study was carried out resulting in a students’ group with the phonological disorders. Within the research the disorders were adjusted with a help of corrective development tasks. The amount of the paper: introduction, three chapters, charts (4), pictures (10) conclusions, bibliography (42) and appendices (16). The amount of the work is 76 pg. The key words: the phonological processes, the phonological perception, the phonological disorder, the development of young students.
