2D vidē tiek modelēts gaistošās gaismas lauks, rezonatorā esošā starojuma atkarība no gaismas krišanas leņķa prizmā, šķiedras platuma, rezonatora attāluma līdz prizmai/šķiedrai, rezonatora izmēra un krītošās gaismas viļņa garuma. The current work describes a theory and the results of the modelling of the propagation of light in Whispering gallery mode optical microresonators with diameters 1 – 5 um. COMSOL Multiphysics software with Wave Optics Module is used for modelling. Prism-resonator and fiber-resonator systems are described. The main controlling parameters are maps of the Ez component of the electric field and the time averaged energy density within the resonator. 2D modelling is prepared for various studies - the exploration of an evanescent wave, the propagation of light in the system when the following parameters are varied: the incident angle of light in the prism, the diameter of an optical fiber, the distance between the resonator and the prism/fiber, the diameter of the resonator, the wavelength of the incident light. Obtained results are analyzed. Whispering gallery mode resonators have various applications, for example, they can be used as frequency filters, temperature sensors and biosensors. The modelling prepared within this work gives contribution to the ERDF project No. 1.1.1.1/16/A/259 and the theme of microresonators.
