Darbā izklāstīta ietekmes funkciju teorija, to formulējumi dažādu klašu novērtējumiem, kā arī to pielietojamība citu robustu mēru iegūšanā. In this research author has viewed the theory of influence functions, their formulations for estimators of different classes, as well as their usage of obtaining other robust measures. The theoretical part also discusses the less known smoothly trimmed mean, which is presented as an alternative to the trimmed mean. Therefore, in the practical part of this paper, author has studied the advantages and disadvantages of this estimator comparing it with the trimmed mean through simulations from the various sample distributions. In addition, this estimator is compared to other robust estimators, such as Huber estimator, the smooth Huber estimator. Author has analysed all estimators results on real data examples as well.
