Intermedialitāte – mākslu mijiedarbība, kas pieprasa estētisko izpratni un pamatojumu. Daudzi 20. gs. autori atsaucās uz pagātnes māksliniekiem un mākslas darbiem, kuri kļūst par iedvesmas avotu un turpmāk par estētiskām pozīcijām. Īpaši lielu iespaidu un ietekmi uz rakstniekiem 20. gs. literatūrā atstāj franču gleznotājs, klasiskā modernisma tēvs Pols Sezans. Viens no iedvesmotajiem rakstniekiem ir austriešu rakstnieks un dramaturgs Pēteris Handke. Šī darba mērķis ir izpētīt intermedialitāti, t. i. vārda un attēla attiecības, izskatīt, aprakstīt literārās mākslas un glezniecības saiknes problemātiku P. Handkes darbos. Analīze tiek veikta, izmantojot Pētera Handkes darbu Senviktuāra kalna mācība (oriģinālais nosaukums: Die Lehre der Sainte-Victoire). Intermedialitāte ir neatņemams literāro darbu pavadonis. Intermediality – interaction of arts, which requires aesthetic appreciation and rationale. Many authors of 20th century make reference to artists and artworks form past, which has become a source of inspiration and hereafter aesthetic positions. Especially great influence and impression on 20th century writers has French painter Paul Cézanne, also known as the father of modern art. One of these impressed writers is Austrian novelist and playwright Peter Handke. The purpose of this work is to explore the Intermediality, namely relations between word and picture, to consider and to describe problematic of literature and art connection in P. Handke works. The analysis is done, using work The lesson of Mont Sainte-Victoire (original title: Die Lehre der Sainte-Victoire) by Peter Handke. Intermediality is the integral attribute of the literary work.
