Japānas koloniālisms: koloniālās politikas Taivānā un Korejā salīdzinājums

Abstract

Maģistra darbā “Japānas koloniālisms: koloniālās politikas Taivānā un Korejā salīdzinājums” tiek aprakstīta Japānas kolonizācijas vēsture, kā tā ietekmēja divas kolonizētās valstis, Koreju un Taivānu, un kādas problēmas izrasīja mūsdienās. Papildus tika aptaujāti Korejas un Taivānas iedzīvotāji par viņu viedokli par Japānas kolonizāciju un vispārīgi par Japānu, lai uzzinātu Taivānas un Dienvidkorejas iedzīvotāju viedokļu atšķirības. Darba mērķis ir analizēt un aprakstīt kolonizācijas iemeslu, paskaidrojot, ar ko tā sākās un kādas bija sekas, kas atspoguļojas arī mūsdienās. Skatoties uz mūsdienu Japānu, nevar iedomāties, ka Japāna spēj izdarīt kaut ko ļaunu citiem. Jo visi zina, ka japāņi ir ļoti pieklājīgi un kontrolē savas emocijas. Tomēr japāņi mēģina ar visiem spēkiem paslēpt agrākās darbības, kā piemēram, kolonizācijas laiku un tā radītās problēmas. Japānai ir svarīgi tas, ko par viņu domā, un arī ir svarīgi būt labās attiecībās ar citām valstīm. Zinot par Japānas tumšo vēsturi, cilvēki no visas pasaules labprāt brauc uz Japānu un mācās japāņu valodu, jo Japānas kultūra ir viena no populārakajām. Darbs ir sadalīts trīs daļās. Pirmajā daļā tiek aprakstīts, kā japāņi ir pārņēmuši kolonizācijas paņēmienu no Eiropas un pielietojuši to Āzijā, kā arī meģinājuši paplašināt savu teritoriju. Otrajā daļā tiek runāts par Korejas un Taivānas izmaiņām kolonizācijas laikā. Trešajā daļā tiek aprakstīts, kādi ir mūsdienu konflikti ar Japānu kolonizācijas dēļ. Darbs rakstīts latviešu valoda. Darba garums bez titullapas, satura un avotiem ir 67 lpp.

The master’s thesis “Japanese Colonialism: Policy in Taiwan and Korea Compared” explores the history of Japanese colonisation, how it influenced the two countries that it colonised, South Korea and Taiwan and what kind of problems it has caused nowadays. Additionally, people from Korea and Taiwan were surveyed on their opinion on Japanese colonisation and their general opinions on Japan to learn how the opinions of People of South Korea and Taiwan may differ. Thesis’ aims are to analyze and describe the cause of colonization, explaining where it started, and what the consequences were, that are visible even today. By looking at nowadays Japan, it is impossible to imagine how Japan could do something evil to others. Because everyone knows that, the japanese are very polite and keep their emotions under control. However, the Japanese are trying to conceal their actions of the past with all their might, such as the time of colonization and its several other problems. Japan cares what people think about it and it is also cares to have good relations with other countries. Knowing the dark past of Japan, people from all around the world willingly go there and learn Japanese, because Japanese culture is one the most popular ones, The work has three parts. The first part describes how the Japanese have taken over after the colonial practices from Europe and exercised it in Asia, and they tried to expand their territory. The second part is about the changes in Korea and Taiwan during the colonisation period. The third part describes what are the current conflicts with Japan due to colonization. The work is written in Latvian. The length of the text is 67 pages, excluding the title page, table of contents and references.
