Bakalaura darba tēma ir adopcijas problēmas Latvijā. Darba autore tēmas izvēlē ir balstījusies uz skaļo aktivitāti sabiedrības locekļu vidū, pēdējo divu gadu garumā, par neefektīvo adopcijas sistēmu Latvijā. Sabiedrības locekļu viedokļos tika izvirzītas dažādas tēzes iespējamajiem iemesliem, kuru dēļ adopcijas process Latvijā nav veiksmīgs, kas deva pamatu Autorei uzskatīt, ka adopcijas problēmas ir sabiedrībai aktuāla tēma. Darba gaitā Autore apskatīs izteikto viedokļu pamatotību, nonākot pie secinājumiem, vai Latvijas Republikas adopcijas procesā ir problēmu esamība, kā arī kādi regulējumi ir nepieciešami likumdošanā, izpildē, pārraudzībā, lai sekmētu vietējās adopcijas gadījumu skaita pieaugumu. Autore uzskata, ka sekmīgi ir realizējusi izvirzītos Bakalaura darba mērķus. The topic of this bachelor thesis is about adoption problems in Latvia. The author chose this topic due to the past two years of loud and challenging statements amongst the society about the inefficient adoption process here in Latvia. Members of the society have stated different opinions, theories and potential problems why the adoption process is unjust and overall unsuccessful. This lead the author to believe that these problems in adoption process is a pressing matter amongst the society. Through out this paper the author will look in to and investigate the grounds on which these claims have been maid and deduct weather or not there are problems with the adoption process in Republic of Latvia. Further more the author will advance what regulations should take place in the legislation, fulfilment and monitoring processes to increase the amount of local adoptions. The author believes that she has successfully fulfilled all of the raised goals of this bachelor thesis.
