Aborta tiesiskie aspekti

Abstract

Šajā bakalaura darbā tiek pētīti aborta tiesiskie aspekti. Darba izstrādes laikā tiek aplūkota kārtība, kādā veic legālu abortu, apkopoti darba autores iegūtie statistikas dati par veiktajiem abortiem Ziemeļkurzemes reģionālajā slimnīcā, kā arī tiek aplūkots aborta tiesiskais regulējums, kas noteikts Latvijas Republikā. Salīdzināšanai tiek skatīti citu valstu regulējumi attiecībā uz konkrētiem, darba ietvaros nozīmīgiem aspektiem. Darba autore ir īsumā aplūkojusi dzīvības vērtības izpratni sabiedrībā, kā arī tās nozīmi reliģijā, lai rastu iespaidu, kā tas var ietekmēt personas attieksmi pret abortu. Darba izstrādes laikā autore nonāk pie secinājuma, ka ir nepieciešams aizpildīt pastāvošās nepilnības un likuma robus. Lai to novērstu autore piedāvā pilnveidot Krimināllikumu jaunā redakcijā, tādējādi uzlabot aborta regulējumu Latvijā un novēršot neskaidrības

The present Bachelor Paper researches the legal aspects of abortion. The Bachelor paper deals with the following aspects: description of the procedure of legal abortion, summary of the statistical data acquired by the Author of the Bachelor Paper concerning the abortions performed in the North Kurzeme Regional Hospital, as well as description of the legal framework of abortion established in the Republic of Latvia. For comparison purposes, the regulations of other countries are considered that are relevant for the specific aspects in the framework of this Bachelor Paper. The Author of the Bachelor Paper provides a brief insight into the value of human life in society, and its importance in religion, to acquire a better understanding regarding how these factors can affect an individual attitude towards abortion. The Author of the Bachelor Paper concludes that it is necessary to correct the existing shortcomings and to fill in the legislative gaps. To achieve that, the Author of the Bachelor Paper suggests perfecting the new edition of the Criminal Law, thus enhancing the regulation of abortion in Latvia and eliminating all uncertainties.
