Alpīnisma attīstība Latvijas PSR 1960.-1991.g.

Abstract

Daudzi nesaistītu līdzenumiem bagāto Latviju ar tādu sporta veidu kā alpīnisms. Un tomēr, pēc 2. pasaules kara un nonākšanas PSRS sastāvā, alpīnisms arī te uzsāka savu attīstību. Lai arī attīstība uzsākta jau 40.gadu beigās, tomēr par panākumiem bagātāko laiku uzskatīti 60.-80.gadi, kas sakrīt ar Latvijas PSR Alpīnisma federācijas darbības laiku. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt alpīnisma attīstību un to ietekmējošos faktorus Alpīnisma federācijas darbības laikā. Alpīnisma attīstība Latvijā ir maz pētīta, un alpīnisms, tāpat kā jebkurš sporta veids, ietekmē sabiedrību, tāpēc šis darbs veicinās izpratni par tā laika sabiedrību un sporta organizēšanu LPSR teritorijā. Pētījuma rezultāti ataino alpīnisma attīstību treniņu, sacensību un kalnu braucienu jomās, Alpīnisma federācijas lomu tajā, kā arī sabiedrības problēmu izpausmi šajā sporta veidā.

Many would not link a plain land like Latvia with mountaineering. However, after WWII and Soviet occupation, the evolvement of mountaineering began also here. The most successful period is believed to be 60s-80s, which coincides with the activity of the LSSR Mountaineering Federation (MF) This study aims to explore the development of mountaineering and the influencing factors during the activity of the MF. There has not been many studies done about mountaineering in Latvia, and, just like any kind of sport, it influences the society - that is why this study also contributes to the understanding of society and organisation of sports in LSSR. The results of the study provide the development analysis in training, competition and mountain touring fields, the role of federation and the reflection of society’s problems in this sport.
