Jauno vecāku informācijas apmaiņas prakses digitālā vidē: ģimeņu forumu piemērs

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir Jauno vecāku informācijas apmaiņas prakses digitālā vidē: ģimeņu forumu piemērs. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā jaunie vecāki tiešsaistē iegūto informāciju izmanto ikdienas dzīvē, nosakot, kādā mērā jaunie vecāki iegūtajai informācijai uzticas un paļaujas uz to. Darbam izvirzīta hipotēze – jaunie vecāki uzticas internetā iegūtai informācijai par bērnu audzināšanu, aprūpi, izglītību un sadzīvi. Teorijas daļā apkopota literatūra par Lietojuma un apmierinājuma teoriju, Medijpratību un komunikāciju digitālajā vidē; no psiholoģiskā aspekta apskatīta jauno vecāku loma, tās pieņemšana un problemātika. Pētījumā izmantota kvantitatīvā pētniecības metode – anketēšana, un kvalitatīvā – kontentanalīze, daļēji strukturētās intervijas un fokusgrupas diskusija. Pētījums veikts izmantojot ģimeņu forumus: cālis.lv, māmiņuklubs.lv, mammāmuntētiem.lv un Facebook grupa “Atsaucīgo māmiņu forums”. Darba noslēgumā tiek secināts, ka ģimeņu forumu plašais tēmu klāsts un iespējas ļauj ikvienam atrast savus domubiedrus un apmainīties ar informāciju, pieredzi. Galvenais iemesls uzticībai ir jauno vecāku nepietiekamas medijpratības kompetences.

The topic of the bachelor’s thesis is Young parents information exchange practises in the digital environment: an example of family forums. The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to find out how young parents use an information gathered online in daily life, clarifying the extent to wich young parent trust the gathered information and rely on it. The hypothesis of the paper is that young parents trust the information obtained from the internet about the raising, care, education and social life of the children. A literature about the Uses and gratifications theory, media literacy and communication in the digital environment is reviewed within theoretical section; a psychological framework is used to review a role of young parents, adoption and problematic aspect of it. During the study a quantitative research method – questionnaire, and qualitative research methods – content analysis, semi-structured interviews and focus group discussion – are used. The study was carried out by using family forums: cālis.lv, māmiņuklubs.lv, mammāmuntētiem.lv and the Facebook group “Atsaucīgo māmiņu forums”. At the end of the thesis it is concluded, that the wide range of topics and options of family forums allow anyone to find like-minded persons and exchange the information and experience. The main reason for trust is the lack of media literacy skills of young parents.
