Identifikācija ar trūcīgajiem, nabadzības atribūcija un attieksme pret trūcīgajiem sociālo darbinieku un trūcīgo izlasē

Abstract

Identifikācija ar trūcīgajiem, nabadzības atribūcija un attieksme pret trūcīgajiem sociālo darbinieku un trūcīgo izlasē Anotācija Pētījuma mērķis ir izvērtēt identifikācijas ar trūcīgajiem, nabadzības atribūcijas un attieksmes pret trūcīgajiem savstarpējo saistību, kā arī izvērtēt identifikācijas ar trūcīgajiem, nabadzības atribūcijas un attieksmes pret trūcīgajiem savstarpējo saistību atsevišķi trūcīgajiem (n = 96) un sociālajiem darbiniekiem (n = 100). Rezultāti parāda, ka izteiktāka identifikācija ar trūcīgajiem prognozē izteiktāku nabadzības strukturālo atribūciju un nabadzības fatālistisko/ģimenes atribūciju, bet izteiktāka nabadzības individuālistiskā atribūcija prognozē negatīvāku attieksmi pret trūcīgajiem. Tika konstatēts, ka gan trūcīgajiem, gan sociālajiem darbiniekiem izteiktāka nabadzības individuālistiskā atribūcija prognozē negatīvāku attieksmi pret trūcīgajiem. Trūcīgajiem izteiktāka identifikācija ar trūcīgajiem prognozē izteiktāku nabadzības fatālistisko/ģimenes atribūciju, nabadzības strukturālo atribūciju un nabadzības individuālistisko atribūciju, bet sociālajiem darbiniekiem identifikācija ar trūcīgajiem nabadzības atribūciju neprognozē. Netika konstatēts, ka identifikācija ar trūcīgajiem un attieksme pret trūcīgajiem ir savstarpēji saistīta. Attributions for poverty, attitudes toward the poor and identification with the poor among social workers and poor people Abstract The aim of this study is to examine the relationships between the identification with the poor, attributions for poverty and attitudes toward the poor, and to examine these relationships separately for social workers (n = 100) and poor people (n = 96). The results show that higher identification with the poor predicts stronger structural attributions and fatalistic/family attributions, but stronger individualistic attributions predict negative attitudes toward the poor. It was found that for both poor people and social workers stronger individualistic attributions predict negative attitudes toward the poor. The poor people’ stronger identification with the poor predicts fatalistic/family attributions, structural attributions and individualistic attributions, but social workers’ identification with the poor doesn’t predict attributions for poverty.
