ANOTĀCIJA
Promocijas darbs” Jauniešu vērtības patērētājsabiedrībā Latvijā” zinātniskā
darba mērėis bija izpētīt un teorētiski pamatot jauniešu vērtības patērētājsabiedrībā,
izstrādāt un aprobēt jauniešu vērtību veidošanās patērētājsabiedrībā modeli un
kritērijus.
Pētījuma bāzi veido 707 vispārizglītojošo skolu 10.-12. klašu skolēni vecumā
no 16 līdz 21 gadiem un 7 vērtībizglītības eksperti. Pētījumā tika noskaidrots pētījuma
jautājums kādas vērtības veidojas jauniešiem mūsdienu patērētājsabiedrībā Latvijā.
Pētījuma gaitā tika analizēta zinātniskā literatūra, kas raksturo vērtību būtība,
skaidrots jēdziens vērtība, vērtības klasificētas un sistematizētas. Izvērtētas vērtību
veidošanās komponentes, nosacījumi - kā vērtības veidojas sabiedrībā, skaidrota
sociālās percepcijas būtība. Analizēts vērtību veidošanās kultūrsociālais aspekts.–
raksturota postmodernā patērētājsabiedrība un globalizācija kā vērtību indikatori.
Analizēta patērētājsabiedrības būtība, ideoloăija un izveidoti patērētājsabiedrības
kritēriji.
Promocijas darbā analizēta vērtībizglītība un izglītības normatīvie dokumenti
vērtībizglītības kontekstā un plānošanā. Skaidrota vērtībizglītības valsts politikā,
analizēts mācību priekšmetu vērtībizglītojošais saturs Latvijā, izvērtēti vērtību izvēles
motīvi, jauniešu vecuma īpatnības, dzīves stils un domāšanas veida ietekme uz vērtību
izvēli.
Uz teorētiskās analīzes bāzes izveidots jauniešu vērtību veidošanās modelis un
kritēriji. Praktiskā pētnieciskākajā daĜā atspoguĜota empīriskā pētījuma organizācija,
metožu apraksts, rezultātu analīze un secinājumi.
Darba apjoms ir 195 lapas (bez pielikumiem)un 18 pielikumi(apjoms 46
lapas). Promocijas darbā iekĜauti 63 attēli, izmantoti 345 literatūras un interneta avoti.

The goal of the doctorate paper The values of the youth in the consumer
society of Latvia was to research and theoretically justify young people’s values in the
consumer society, and approbate the model and criteria of young people’s value
formation in the consumer society.
The research is based on data obtained from 707 comprehensive school 10th -
12th grade students, aged 16 – 21 years, and 7 values education experts. The research
provided the answer to the research question – what values do the young people
develop in the modern consumer society in Latvia.
During the research, scientific literature that characterizes the essence of
values was analysed, the notion ‘value’ was explained and values were classified and
systematized. The components of value formation and the conditions that determine
how values develop in a society were evaluated, and the essence of social perception
was explained. The culture-social aspect of value formation was analyzed. The postmodern
consumer society and globalization as value indicators were characterized.
Finally, the essence, ideology and developed criteria of consumer society were
analyzed.
In the doctorate paper, values education and the education laws and
regulations in the context of value education and planning were analyzed. Value
education in the national policy was explained, the values education content in school
subjects in Latvia was analyzed, the motives for value choice and the influence of
young people’s age peculiarities, life style and way of thinking on the value choice.
The theoretical analysis served as the basis for creating young people’s value
formation model and criteria. The practical part of the research includes the
organization of the empirical research, method description, the analysis of results and
conclusions.
The volume of the paper is 195 pages (without appendices) and 18 appendices.
In this doctorate paper 63 images are included and 345 literary and internet sources
have been used.
