Interneta lietotāju skaits pasaulē sastāda vairāk nekā puse jeb 51.2% no kopēju cilvēka skaita pasaulē, savukārt Latvijā 2018.gadā 81.2% no kopēju iedzīvotāju skaita regulāri lieto internetu. Uzņē The development of innovation and information technology is becoming ever more rapid in every area of life, including changes in economic processes. Electronic commerce is becoming more and more popular and now it is hard to imagine that a few years ago to make a purchase, it was necessary to walk through all the known shops and there was no possibility to compare prices on products or services at home on the couch. Most companies in the world can benefit from the use of the latest technologies that provide access to the Internet. The Internet can improve productivity, promote effective communication with customers and suppliers, as well as between company employees, and promote the visibility of the company's image. Businesses can benefit from the use of the Internet for business life, regardless of the specifics and spheres of activity. Various companies, especially those engaged in electronic commerce and offering online purchases of their goods or services, integrate Internet sites with internal systems such as databases, accounting package, stock status control and custom tracking software. All of this can reduce administration costs, improve product and service quality for the customer by providing them with quick and understandable information on the progress of the order. The use of e-commerce is not profitable at once, but it can help expand market share, increase customer base, and simplify business processes. The ways to implement e-commerce can be varied: web sites, electronic entertainment, e-mailing, online auctions, and more. The number of Internet users in the world is over half or 51.2% of the total number of people in the world, while in Latvia in 2018, 81.2% of the total population is regularly used on the Internet. There is also an increase in the number of mobile broadband subscriptions due to the widespread development of information technology: in 2007 they were only 4 subscribers per 100 people, but in 2018 already 69.3 people from 100 are using mobile broadband. The author believes that Latvia's prospective or only potential entrepreneurs currently have a great potential to develop their trade on the Internet, especially when looking at the successful stories of European and global countries and their companies, but start with an idea and a serious business plan. The aim of the Master's thesis is to develop a business plan for a newly established company that will develop and install an innovative online store, where it will offer its products for purchase in biologically healthy food and everyday goods from Latvian farms. The name of the company will be "Laiks Pusdienot!", Which reflects the direction of action. The company's business form is limited liability companies.
