Žurnālistu tiesības iepazīties ar krimināllietas materiāliem

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tiek pētīts žurnālistu tiesību iepazīties ar krimināllietu materiāliem iepriekš nebijušais institūts Latvijā, tā attīstība, efektivitātes izvērtējums, galvenie tiesību īstenošanas aspekti un problemātika. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, cik efektīvas ir žurnālistu jauniegūtās iespējas, kā arī sniegt iespējamos risinājumus pašreizējā regulējuma uzlabošanai problēmjautājumu kontekstā. Autore, izvērtējot pieejamo un veiktajā intervijā iegūto informāciju, bakalaura darbā piedāvā iespējamos grozījumus Kriminālprocesa likumā, 375.1 pantā, apvienojot panta otro un trešo daļu, izsakot attiecīgajā redakcijā, tādejādi mazinot kategoriskā aizlieguma esamību pašreizējā redakcijā. Tāpat darbā tiek piedāvāti grozījumu nākotnes attīstības virzieni, kā arī tiek sniegts skaidrojums, kāpēc būtu nepieciešams informācijas pieejamību padarīt elektronisku.

The bachelor thesis studies the institute of the rights of journalists to familiarise themselves with materials of criminal cases which is new institute in Latvia. The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to to find out how effective the new opportunities for journalists are and to provide possible solutions to improve current regulation in the context of problematic issues. By evaluating the available information and information obtained during the interview, the author offers possible amendments to the Criminal Procedure Law, Article 375.1, combining the second and third parts of the article, expressing in the respective wording, thus reducing the categorical prohibition in the current version. Author also offers future development directions for amendments, as well as an explanation of why it would be necessary to make information available electronically.
