Vecāka gadagājuma cilvēku subjektīvā labizjūta integrācijas kā līdzdalības procesā sociālās aprūpes mājā

Abstract

Promocijas darba pētījuma aktualitāti nosaka pārmaiņas, kuras saistītas ar sociālekonomisko problemātiku Latvijā 90-os gados un tās izpratnes nepieciešamību, risinot vecāka gadagājuma cilvēku integrācijas iespējas jaunā sociālā vidē. Vecāka gadagājuma cilvēki tika izolēti no iepriekšējās dzīves vietas un viņiem bija nepieciešams sociāli pedagoģiskais atbalsts integrācijai sociālās aprūpes mājā. Vecāka gadagājuma cilvēku integrēšanās sociālajā vidē ir apgrūtināta līdzdalības sabiedriskajā dzīvē iespēju nepietiekamības dēļ. Teorētiskās analīzes rezultātā izveidots novecošanas procesa izpētes teorētiskais ietvars, noteikti labizjūtas un līdzdalības rādītāji. Pētījums veikts, lai paplašinot līdzdalības iespējas sociālajā aprūpes mājā, sekmētu vecāka gadagājuma cilvēku subjektīvo labizjūtu kā integrācijas procesa rezultātu. Empīriskā pētījuma rezultātā konstatēts, ka vecāka gadagājuma cilvēki jūtas subjektīvi labklājīgi sociālajā aprūpes mājā, ja tiem ir iespēja līdzdarboties; līdzdalības iespējas sociālajā mājā sekmē vecāka gadagājuma cilvēku subjektīvo labizjūtu kā integrācijas procesa rezultātu. Pētījumā konstatēts, ka pastāv likumsakarības starp sociālo drošību un līdzdarbību, kas nosaka vecāka gadagājuma cilvēku subjektīvo labizjūtu integrācijas kā līdzdalības procesā sociālajā aprūpes mājā.

The topicality of the research of the promotion work is defined by the changes that are connected with the social economic problems of 90s in Latvia and the necessity to understand them as well as to solve the issues of possibilities of integrating elderly people in a new social environment. Elderly people feel isolated from their former living place and they need social pedagogical support in the course of integration in a social care home. The integration of elderly people in a social environment is made more difficult because of the possible necessity of participation in the social life. The theoretical analysis has resulted in doing research on the theoretical content of the process of aging as well as in defining well-being and participation indicators. The research has been done in order to broaden the participation possibilities in a social care home, and as a result of the integration process to achieve the elderly people’s subjective well-being. It has been stated, as a result of the empirical research, that elderly people experience subjective well-being in a social care home providing they have a possibility of participation; participation possibilities in a social care home result in elderly people’s subjective well-being, which is a goal of the integration process. The research states that there exists a consistent pattern between the social security and participation, which define elderly people’s subjective well-being in integration as a participation process in a social care home.
