Ekotūrisms Latvijā: problēmas un risinājumi ilgtspējīgas tūrisma nozares pilnveidošanā

Abstract

Anotācija Pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt vides un tūrisma politiku, jo tūrisms kā viens no intensīvākajām sociāli ekonomiskajām aktivitātēm rada ietekmi uz bioloģisko daudzveidību un kultūras mantojumu, kā arī veikt ekotūrisma situācijas un attīstības iespēju izpēti Natura 2000 teritorijās, kurām ir atšķirīgas dabas daudzveidības vērtības un tūrisma darbības intensitāte. Pētījuma mērķis ir izstrādāt rekomendācijas ekotūrisma ilgtspējīgai pārvaldībai, lai samazinātu antropogēno ietekmi aizsargājamās dabas teritorijās, lai vides aizsardzības intereses būtu prioritāras pār ekonomiskajām interesēm un lai tiktu veidota atbildīga rīcība videi draudzīgo tehnoloģiju un pieeju ieviešanā ekotūrismā, kā arī visā tūrisma nozarē kopumā Atslēgas vārdi: bioloģiskā daudzveidība, ekotūrisms, vides pārvaldība, normatīvie akti, aizsargājamās dabas teritorijas, kultūras mantojums

Ecotourism in Latvia; problems and solutions for promotion of sustainable tourism sector

Abstract The purpose of this research is to analyse environmental and tourism policy, as it influences the impact on biodiversity and heritage caused by tourism - one of the most intensive social - economic activities on a protected nature territories. The areas selected for the case study were the Natura 2000 territories which include a diverse range of ecosystems and the development of tourism facilities. The goal of this research is to propose recommendations for ecotourism management which will serve to reduce social and economic pressures on biodiversity for these territories and which protection of the environment has priority over economic interests as well as which will promote responsible actions in support of environmentally friendly technologies and approaches.
