Vācbaltu sociālpolitiskās intereses latviešu skolotāju izglītībā Vidzemē un Kurzemē (1802-1856)

Abstract

Zanes Āķītes promocijas darbs ,,Vācbaltu sociālpolitiskās intereses latviešu skolotāju izglītībā Vidzemē un Kurzemē (1802–1856)“ ir veltīts skolotāju izglītības un politiskās varas attiecību analīzei. Pētījuma centrā atrodas jautājums, kā konkrēta teoloģiskā virziena izvēle noteica latviešu skolotāju izglītību un kādas bija šīs izvēles konsekvences? Pētījumā atklāts, kāpēc latviešu skolotāju izglītībā 19. gs. p.p. tika noraidītas vācu pedagoga un teologa G. F. Dintera (1760–1831) teoloģiskajās nostādnēs balstītās pedagoģiskās idejas. Analizētās mijsakarības starp skolotāju izglītību, politiskās varas atbalstītām pedagoģiskajām idejām un mācību metodēm, un sabiedrības sociālo un politisko uzvedību, atklāj, kā politiskā vara spēj realizēt noteiktus sociālos un politiskos mērķus ar skolotāju izglītības starpniecību. Doctoral thesis of Zane Āķīte ,,Reflections of sociopolitical interests of Baltic Germans in Latvian teacher education in Vidzeme and Kurzeme (1802–1856)” is devoted to the analysis of relations between teacher education (TE) and political power. The key question of the research is how the choice of a particular theological trend determined Latvian TE and what consequences it caused. The study reveals why pedagogical ideas based on theological position of the German pedagogue and theologist G. F. Dinter (1760–1831) were rejected in Latvian TE in first half of the 19th century. The thesis analyzes interaction between TE, pedagogical ideas and teaching methods supported by the political power and the social and political behavior of the society; it reveals how the political power can implement definite social and political aims through TE.
