Zur LanganzeigeZusammenfassung
Līdz šim lielākoties notikusi kultakmeņu apzināšana un tipoloģizēšana pēc to vizuālajām pazīmēm. Until now, cult stone identification and typology has been guided mostly by the visual characteristics. Archaeological material produced by archaeological research of cult sites is small and all alike, and has not always let to correctly identify and date the cult stones. In the bachelors thesis, by analyzing the problems connected to the identification and the chronology of the use of cult stones, the markers of the cult stones of river Daugava are identified. In order to test the possibilities of 3D visualization when it comes to the interpretation and identification of the cult stones of river Daugava, which has not been done before, a 3D visualization of the stone idols of Mārtiņsala has been carried out. In order to particularize the chronology of the use of cult stones, a juxtaposition of the cult stones and possible cult stones, with ancient sites has been carried out, creating connectivity maps of the archaeological monuments of the downriver of Daugava.
