Šajā darbā tiek aplūkota problēma – kāda loģiskā struktūra ir Latvijas tiesību sistēmai un tās pamatelementiem? Šīs problēmas kontekstā izvirzīts darba mērķis – analizēt Latvijas tiesību sistēmas un tās pamatelementu loģisko struktūru. Lai sasniegtu šo mērķi, autors izklāsta izteikumu loģikas pamatus un tos izmanto analīzē. Pētījuma rezultātā autors pilnveido tiesību normu struktūras izpratni, piedāvā grozījumus sešos Krimināllikuma pantos, norāda uz problēmām, kas saistītas ar Latvijas tiesību sistēmas struktūras veidošanu un koherenci, un pamato, kāpēc tiesību sistēmā, kas balstīta dabisko tiesību doktrīnā, jāizmanto universāla morāle, lai atvasinātu vispārējos tiesību principus un pārbaudītu to leģitimitāti. In this work the examined problem is – what is the logical structure of Latvia's legal system and its basic elements? In the problem's context, the following aim is brought forward – to analyse the logical structure of Latvia's legal system and its basic elements. To achieve this aim, author outlines the basics of propositional logic and uses them for analyses. In the results of the study the author improves comprehension concerning the structure of legal norms, offers amendments to six articles of the Criminal law, brings attention to problems relating to the creation of the structure of Latvia's legal system and its coherence, and justifies why in legal systems that are based on the doctrine of natural law one must use universal morals to derive general principles of law and test their legitimacy.
