This Bachelor's Theme is “The Impact of Diagnostic Information on Refugee Attitudes”. The aim of the study was to determine whether and how the presence of diagnostic / nondiagnostic information will affect respondents' views on refugees. The study included 182 Latvian residents aged 18 to 72, 147 women and 35 men of different educational levels. An experimental design was used to carry out the research, and a survey was designed to measure dependent variables as part of the bachelor's thesis. The survey was based on a 2x2x2 design - the first split is profile information only diagnostic or supplemented with non-diagnostic. The second division is based on the refugee education level - basic education or higher and the last is the absence of children as opposed to 4 children. The following results were found: There was a statistically significant effect between the education reported in the refugee profile and the responses provided (p = 0.02). There was no effect on whether the asylum seeker had children and the responses provided (p = 0.52), and no relationship was found between the impact of diagnostic / non-diagnostic information on respondents' responses (p = 0.12). Also, it can be concluded that asylum seekers with higher education are seen more positive.
