Bakalaura darba teoritiskajā daļā tik apzināti pedagoģijas un psiholoģijas zinātnieku pētījumi, noskaidrotas jaunākā pirmskolas vecuma bērnu attīstības likumsakarības, analizēti bērna pamatkustību raksturojumi un to veidi, kā arī rotaļu ka darbības veida iespējas lekšanas prasmju apguvei. Empīriskā izmēģinājuma darbības, tās organizēšanas, plānošanas, pedagoģisko paņēmienu aprobācijas mērķa sasniegšanai tika pielietotas šādas metodes: bērnu novērošana, vecāku anketēšana, intervija ar pirmsskolas izglītības skolotājiem. Lekšanas prasmju apguve tika sekmēta izmantojot kustību rotaļu kopu un konstatēta to lietderība. Pētījuma rezultātu salīdzinoša analīze apliecināja, ka pieteikta hipotēze tika pārbaudīta un apstiprinājās: jaunākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu lekšanas prasmju apguve kustību rotaļās noritēs sekmīgāk, ja tiks ievērota bērna iepriekšējā dzīves pieredze, un, ja ģimenē būs aktualizētas sportiskās aktivitātes.
