Bakalaura darba “Noziedzīgi iegūto līdzekļu legalizācijas un terorisma finansēšanas novēršanas normatīvā regulējama attīstība un problemātika Eiropas Savienībā” mērķis ir izpētīt noziedzīgi iegūto līdzekļu legalizācijas un terorisma finansēšanas regulējumu Eiropas Savienības normatīvajos aktos un piedāvāt regulējuma uzlabojumus. Veicot dažādu avotu analīzi, autors ir nonācis pie secinājumiem, ka Eiropas Savienības regulējumā ir noteiktas pilnveidojuma iespējas trastiem pielīdzināmu personu, čaulas veidojumu, patiesā labumu guvēju identificēšanas un eksteritoriālā pilnvarojumu jomā. Autors piedāvā risinājumus, kā būtu iespējams uzlabot Eiropas Savienības regulējumu noziedzīgi iegūto līdzekļu legalizācijas un terorisma finansēšanas jomā. The primary goal of bachelor’s thesis “The development and problem areas of anti-money laundering and terrorism financing regulation in the European Union” is to investigate regulation of anti-money laundering and terrorism financing in the European Union and propose specific improvement areas. Author has analyzed numerous information sources and identified potential improvement areas in the European Union regulation. Identified improvement areas are in the domain of legal arrangements similar to trusts, shell arrangements, ultimate beneficial owners and extraterritorial power. Author propose specific solutions how to improve the regulation in those areas.
