Maģistra darba būtība ir par noziedzīgi iegūtu mantu un īpašo mantas konfiskācijas institūtu, kas Latvijas Republikas krimināltiesību jomā mūsdienās kļuvis par aktuālu tiesību institūtu. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt ar mantas konfiskāciju saistītos likuma regulējumus, to vēsturisko attīstību, salīdzinot tos ar ārvalstu regulējumiem, sniegt savu vērtējumu. Mērķa sasniegšanai aplūkots Latvijas normatīvais regulējums par noziedzīgi iegūtu mantu un īpašo mantas konfiskāciju. Izpētīta juridiskā literatūra, tiesībzinātnieku un praktiķu viedokļi, juridiskā prakse un ārvalstu tiesību ziņojumi. Veikta salīdzināšana ar vēsturiskajām likuma redakcijām un ārvalstu regulējumiem. The essence of the master's thesis is about the Institute for criminally derived property and special confiscation of property, which has become an up-to-date law institute in the field of criminal law of the Republic of Latvia. The aim of the research is to investigate the law regulations related to confiscation of property, their historical development compared with foreign regulations, to give own assessment. In order to achieve the goal, the regulatory framework for Latvia regulating the confiscation of criminal property and special property has been examined. Studying legal literature, opinions of law-holders and practitioners, legal practices and foreign law reports. Comparisons have been made with historical regulations of the Latvian criminal law and foreign regulations.
