Kognitīvo funkciju saistība ar UDHS simptomiem 10-11 gadus veciem bērniem

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot UDHS simptomu un kognitīvo spēju saistību bērniem vecumā no 10 līdz 11 gadiem. Pētījuma hipotēze - bērniem ar augstākiem UDHS simptomu rādītājiem būs zemāki kognitīvo spēju rādītāji. Pētījumā piedalījās 103 bērni, vecumā no 10 līdz 11 gadiem ( M = 10,4; SD = 0,49). Pētījumā tika izmantotas 5 metodes: Pirksta uzsitiena tests, Krāsu reakcijas tests, Šifrēšanas tests, Jauniešu uzvedības pašnovērtēšanas aptaujas apakšskala - Uzmanības problēmas un jaunizveidota UDHS simptomu noteikšanas aptauja. Pētījuma rezultāti uzrāda statistiski nozīmīgu saistību starp UDHS simptomu rādītājiem un vadības funkciju rādītājiem. Tā kā citi kognitīvie testi neuzrādīja statistiski nozīmīgu saistību ar UDHS simptomatiku, tad tas ļauj tikai daļēji apstiprināt izvirzīto hipotēzi. Darba kopsavilkumā tiek analizēti iespējamie pētījuma ierobežojumi, kā arī sniegti ieteikumi turpmāko pētījumu rezultātu uzlabošanā. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between ADHD symptoms and cognitive abilities in children 10 to 11 years old. The research hypothesis is that children with higher ADHD symptoms will have lower cognitive performance scores. The study included 103 children aged 10 to 11 years (M = 10.4; SD = 0.49). Five methods were used in the study: Finger Tapping test, The Stroop Color and Word test, Symbol Digit Modalities test, Youth Behavior Self-Assessment Survey subscale - Attention Problems and newly developed ADHD Symptom Survey. The results of the study show a statistically significant relationship between ADHD symptom scores and executive function scores. Other cognitive tests showed no relationship with ADHD symptomatic, thatswhy it allows only partial validation of the hypothesis. The paper summarizes the potential limitations of the study and provides recommendations for improving the results of future studies.
