Vietas ainavas raksturs un tā izmaiņas attīstības pēctecīguma teorijas perspektīvā

Abstract

Anita Zariņas promocijas darba „AINAVAS PĒCTECĪGUMS: AINAVU VEIDOŠANĀS VĒSTURISKIE UN BIOGRĀFISKIE ASPEKTI LATGALĒ” ANOTĀCIJA Cilvēka dzīvesvides ainavas veido komplekss dažādu līmeņu notikumu, dabas vides un cilvēka darbības mijatiecību tīklojums. To attīstības un pārmaiņu raksturu ietekmē gan vēsturiski ģeogrāfiskie un sociālie nosacījumi, gan cilvēka kolektīvā un individuālā darbība. Promocijas darbā ir izstrādāta ainavas pārmaiņu interpretācijas pieeja, piemērojot vēsturiskās un sociālās ģeogrāfijas metodes Latgales ainavu analīzei. Darbā vēsturiskās ģeogrāfijas kontekstā ir pētīta senā šņoru zemju ainava, tās telpiskās struktūras, nozīmju, izmaiņu un prakses analīzei ir teorētiski pamatota un pirmo reizi aprobēta līdz šim ainavu pētījumos neizmantota – pēctecīguma teorija (path dependence theory angl.). Izmantojot pozitīvistisku vēsturiskās ainavas analīzes jeb strukturālu ainavas lasīšanas pieeju ir rekonstruēta seno šņoru lauku ainava un tās elementi. Ainavas pārmaiņu pēctecīguma kontekstā analīze ir veikta divos Latgales bijušajos ciemos. Lai būtu iespējams atklāt nejaušību ietekmes, cēloniskas notikumu attīstības gaitas, tika attīstīta vietas ainavas koncepcija, kas var kļūt par nozīmīgu pieejas pamatu ainavas mikro-vēsturiskos pētījumos. Analīzei tika izmantota un aprobēta Latvijā jauna – ainavas biogrāfijas, pieeja. Tās mērķis atklāt ainavas ilga laika attīstību (pārmaiņas) dažādu nozīmju un sociāl-politisku kontekstu gaismā. Promocijas darbā ir sniegti jauna veida ierosinājumi par ainavu apsaimniekošanas, aizsardzības un plānošanas jautājumu risinājumiem, balstoties uz ainavu pēctecīguma, biogrāfijas un ainavu lasīšanas pieeju kontekstuālu izmantošanu saistībā ar vietas ainavas raksturu, skatījuma mērogu, sociālo praksi.

Anita Zariņa doctoral thesis „Path Dependency of Landscape: Historical and Biographical Contexts of Landscape Change in Latgale” ANNOTATION Landscapes of man lifeworld are formed by complex network of interactions among human and his environment, sequences of events at various levels, meanings and representations. The character of developments and changes of landscapes is influenced by historical, geographical and social circumstances and conditions, as well as by man’s collective and individual activity. In the doctoral thesis “Path dependency of landscape: historical and biographical contexts of landscape change in Latgale” the approach of landscape change interpretation of cultural region of Latgale has been elaborated, adapting the methods of historical geography and social theories. The focus lies upon historical strip-land landscape and its transformations, path dependencies and inheritances during last two centuries at the regional and local level. For the analysis of spatial structure, meanings, changes and practises at landscape level the concept of path dependency was used. For the first time in historical geography studies the theory of path dependence has been theoretically grounded and approbated for landscape analysis. While the historical strip-field landscape was reconstructed using the positivistic approach of landscape historical analysis. The analysis of sequences of events and their impact on landscapes during last two centuries was carried out in two former villages. The landscape biography and path dependency approach was used to understand the particular key breakpoints in their histories and series of reactions that follows those breakpoints, as well as to understand the role of social agency and institutions at micro level, to explore the idea of contingency in historical sequences. In the doctoral thesis the proposals for landscape management, protection and planning practises are developed, basing on findings of landscape path dependency character, the contextual use of landscape biography and landscape reading approaches.
