Abstract
Veiktā pētījuma mērķis bija gūt atbildi uz jautājumu, kādas saistības ir novērojamas starp labvēlīgā humora un korektīvā humora stiliem un personības iezīmēm. Pētījuma dalībniekiem (N = 408) tika lūgts aizpildīt Labvēlīgā un korektīvā humora aptauju (BenCor), kā arī Lielā Piecinieka personības aptauju (BFI). Iegūtie rezultāti par sakarībām starp labvēlīgo humoru, korektīvo un personības iezīmēm sakrīt gan ar pieejamo teoriju, gan iepriekš veiktiem pētījumiem. Labvēlīgais humors uzrādīja pozitīvas saistības ar atvērtību pieredzei, ekstraversiju un labvēlīgumu un negatīvas – ar neirotismu, savukārt korektīvais humors uzrādīja pozitīvas saistības ar atvērtību pieredzei un ekstraversiju, kā arī negatīvas ar labvēlīgumu un apzinīgumu.
The aim of this study was to answer the question of the relationship between the benevolent humor, corrective humor and personal traits. Participants (N = 408) were asked to fill a survey measuring benevolent and corrective humor (BenCor) as well as the Big Five personality inventory (BFI). Obtained results of the relationship between the benevolent humor, corrective humor and personality traits coincide with both the available theory and previous studies. Benevolent humor showed a positive relationship with openness to experience, extraversion and agreeableness, and a negative relationship with neuroticism, however corrective humor showed positive relationships with openness and extraversion and negative with conscientiousness and agreeableness.
