Dieva tēla uztveres ietekme uz bērna neizārstējamības pieņemšanu bērnu onkoloģijas paliatīvās aprūpes kontekstā

Abstract

Bērna neizārstējamība ir viens no lielākajiem izaicinājumiem, ar ko sastopas vecāki. Šī darba mērķis ir identificēt ar garīgumu un reliģiju saistītus vecāku spēka avotus, kā arī analizēt, kādi Dieva tēla aspekti ir spēka avots vecākiem, kas sekmē bērna neizārstējamības pieņemšanu paliatīvās onkoloģijas kontekstā. Identificētajiem vecāku spēka avotiem - palīdzošajām darbībām, attieksmei un priekšstatiem, kurus akadēmiskajā literatūrā iezīmē kā saistītus ar reliģiju, ticību un garīgumu, cauri vijas kopīga iezīme – pozitīvs, labvēlīgs Dieva tēls. Arī Latvijā veiktā kvalitatīvā pētījuma rezultāti apstiprina, ka pozitīva Dieva tēla uztvere ir viens no izšķirošiem faktoriem, kurš vecākiem palīdz pieņemt sava bērna neizārstējamību.

The incurability of a child is one of the biggest challenges, which parents are facing. The aim of this work is to identify the sources of parental inner strength related to spirituality and religion, as well as to analyse which aspects of the image of God are a source of strength for parents that contribute to the acceptance of the child’s incurability in the context of palliative oncology. The identified sources of the inner strength of parents - supportive actions, attitudes, and notions that are marked in the academic literature as related to religion, faith, and spirituality - have a common pattern - a positive, favourable image of God. The results of a qualitative study conducted in Latvia also confirm that a positive perception of the image of God is one of the decisive factors that helps parents to accept their child's incurability.
