Heraldiskās simbolikas attīstība Livonijā, 13.-16.gs.

Abstract

Maģistra darba „Heraldiskās simbolikas attīstība Livonijā, 13.-16.gs.” mērķis ir apkopot un analizēt galveno heraldiskās simbolikas avotu grupu – sfragistisko un numismātisko avotu – piemērus, ar mērķi atspoguļot heraldiskās simbolikas attīstību Livonijā no Rietumu kultūras ienākšanas brīža līdz pat Livonijas pastāvēšanas beigām. Darba struktūru veido četras nodaļas, kurās atspoguļota heraldikas attīstība, lietošanas principi. Pirmā nodaļa veltīta heraldikas attīstībai un procesiem, kuru rezultātā Livonijā ienāk heraldika, bet pārējās trīs nodaļas iedalītas atbilstoši avotu grupām – sfragistika, numismātika, un citi avoti, kuros sastopami ģerboņu atveidojumi.

The Master’s thesis “The Development of heraldic symbols in Livonia, 13th-16th century” aim is to collect and analyze heraldic symbols in Livonia from 13th-16th century main sources – sphragistic and numismatic material – to show the development of heraldic symbols from the beginning of entrance of Western culture into the region up until the end of Livonia. The thesis consist of four chapters including a chapter on development of heraldry in general, processes that result in appearance of heraldic symbols in Livonia in particular, while the following three chapters are divided according to the source groups – sphragistic, numismatic and other sources with heraldic symbols.
