Homonegativitātes saistība ar priekšstatiem par profesijas piemērotību indivīdiem ar neheteroseksuālu orientāciju

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot vai pastāv saistība starp homonegativitātes līmeni heteroseksuāliem un neheteroseksuāliem indivīdiem ar priekšstatiem par profesijas piemērotību indivīdiem ar neheteroseksuālu orientāciju, kā arī noskaidrot, vai pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības starp pretendentu kategoriju vērtējumiem atkarībā no pretendentiem piedēvētās seksuālās orientācijas, vērtētāja seksuālās orientācijas un šo mainīgo mijiedarbības. Pētījuma izlase ir 96 cilvēki, no kuriem 25 ir vīrieši, 71 – sieviete, 56 ir heteroseksuāli indivīdi, 40 – neheteroseksuāli. Respondentu vecuma diapazons ir no 18 līdz 76 gadiem, vidējais vecums – 26,36. Statistiski nozīmīgas tika atklātas vien pretendenta seksuālās orientācijas efekta atšķirības viena pretendenta pieņemšanas darbā rādītājiem atkarībā no viņam piedēvētās seksuālās orientācijas. Pretendentu uztverot par homoseksuālu indivīdu, respondenti novērtēja viņu augstāk darbā pieņemšanas kategorijā, nekā uztverot viņu par heteroseksuālu. Citām kategorijām un citiem pretendentiem netika atklātas statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības starp kategoriju vērtējumiem atkarībā no pretendentiem piedēvētās seksuālās orientācijas, vērtētāja seksuālās orientācijas un šo mainīgo mijiedarbības. Homonegativitātes līmeņa salīdzinājums par homoseksuāliem un heteroseksuāliem pretendentiem norāda, ka indivīdiem ar homoseksuālu orientāciju, tika konstatētas negatīvas korelācijas respondentu homonegativitātes līmenim ar kategoriju vērtējumiem

The aim of the study is to find out whether there is a correlation between the level of homonegativity of heterosexual and non-heterosexual individuals with perceptions of the carrer fit for non-heterosexual individuals as well as to find out whether there are statistically significant differences between the evaluations of the categories of applicants depending on the sexual orientation attributed to the applicants, the sexual orientation of the evaluator and the interaction of these variables. The sample of the study is 96 people, of which 25 are men, 71 are women, 56 are heterosexual individuals, and 40 are non-heterosexual. The age range of the respondents is from 18 to 76 years, the average age - 26.36. Statistically significant differences in the applicant's sexual orientation effect were found for the recruitment indicators of one applicant depending on the sexual orientation attributed to him. When the applicant was perceived as a homosexual individual, the respondents rated him higher in the recruitment category than when he was perceived as heterosexual. For other categories and other applicants, no statistically significant differences were found between the evaluations of the categories depending on the sexual orientation attributed to the applicants, the sexual orientation of the evaluator and the interaction of these variables. A comparison of the level of homonegativity for homosexual and heterosexual applicants indicates that in individuals with homosexual orientation, negative correlations were found for the level of homonegativity of respondents and category ratings.
