Pētījuma tēma ir “Sociālais darbinieks kā starppaaudžu solidaritātes veicinātājs kultūras programmu organizēšanā”. Pētījuma mērķis ir iztirzāt sociālā darbinieka dalību starppaaudžu solidaritātes veicināšanā, organizējot kultūras pasākumus ilgstošas sociālās aprūpes un sociālās rehabilitācijas institūcijās. Pētījuma teorētiskā bāze balstās uz lomu teoriju un ekosistēmisko teoriju sociālā darba kontekstā, kā arī uz starppaaudžu solidaritātes skaidrojumu, izmantojot sešu elementu starppaaudžu solidaritātes modeli. Pētījums ir kvalitatīvs gadījuma pētījums, kurā kā datu vākšanas metodes izmantotas daļēji strukturētas intervijas un ekspressintervijas. Pētījuma empīriskajā daļā tiek veikta interviju analīze, izmantojot ietvara analīzes metodi. Pētījuma rezultāti atklāj, ka sociālie darbinieki izmanto savas profesionālā sociālā darba lomas starppaaudžu solidaritātes veicināšānā un viņu dalība kultūras programmās ir nepieciešamība. Strappaaudžu solidaritātes veicināšanai un kultūras programmu norisei svarīgi ir gan finansiālie, gan cilvēkresursi, telpiskais izkārtojums un personāla entuziasm. Rezultāti parāda, ka ne vienmēr vecāka gadagājuma cilvēju dzīves kvalitāte un labbūtība privātā ilgstošas sociālās aprūpes un sociālās rehabilitācijas institūcijā ir labāka kā valsts vai pašvaldības institūcijā. The topic of the research is “Social worker as facilitator of intergenerational solidarity in organizing cultural programms”. The aim of the thesis is to discuss the participation of a social worker in the promotion of intergenerational solidarity by organizing cultural programms in a long-term care institutions. The theoretical basis of the research is based on the role and ecosystem theories in the context of social work, as well as on the explanations of intergenerational solidarity, using a six-element intergenerational solidarity model. The study is qualitative case study. The semi-structured interviews and express interviews used as data collecting methods. The empirical part of the study is based on the framework analysis method. The findings of the study reveal that the social workers use their professional social work roles also facilitating the intergenerational solidarity. Their participation in cultural programs is necessity. Both are needed financial and human resources spatial arrangement and staff enthusiasm in order to facilitate intergenerational solidarity and to provide with cultural programs older people living in long-term care. The results show, that the private long-term care institution not always provide a better quality of life for older people than it is in local government’s or state long-term care institutions.
