Amerikas Savienoto Valstu un Ķīnas Tautas Republikas attiecību attīstības tendences no Aukstā kara beigām līdz 2017.g.:ekspertu viedokļi

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā “Amerikas Savienoto Valstu un Ķīnas Tautas Republikas attiecību attīstības tendences no Aukstā kara beigām līdz 2017.g.: ekspertu viedokļi” tika salīdzināti dažādu ekspertu viedokļi par galvenajiem Amerikas Savienoto Valstu un Ķīnas Tautas Republikas attiecību aspektiem un tendencēm. Bakalaura darbs hronoloģiski aptver laika posmu no 1991. g. decembra līdz 2017. g., lai gan nedaudz tiek apskatīts arī periods 1949.–1991. g. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir apkopot un salīdzināt dažādu ekspertu, galvenokārt starptautisko attiecību un lietu, vai/un Ķīnas politikas un vēstures pētnieku un profesoru, viedokļus par ASV–ĶTR savstarpējo attiecību attīstības tendencēm no Aukstā kara beigām līdz 2017. g. Vispārējais secinājums ir, ka lielākoties aplūkotie eksperti ir vienisprātis par tādiem attiecību aspektiem kā vispārējais attiecību raksturs – ne kā starp draugiem, ne kā starp ienaidniekiem, ASV mēģinājumi veidot sadarbību ar Ķīnu, ĶTR aizdomas par Amerikas mērķiem, Ķīnas ekonomikas attīstības nodrošināšanas nozīme Ķīnas Komunistiskajai partijai, tomēr vairākos jautājumos ir novērojamas atšķirības.

In bachelor thesis “Trends in United States of America–People’s Republic of China relations from the end of the Cold War to 2017: expert opinions” a comparison is carried out between different expert opinions concerning more important aspects and trends in the relations between United States of America and People’s Republic of China. Bachelor thesis chronology includes time period from 1991 to 2017, although short overview is given for period from 1949 to 1991. Bachelor thesis aim is to compile and compare different expert such as researchers and professors of international relations and affairs, or/and Chinese politics and history opinions about trends in USA-PRC relations from the end of the Cold War until 2017. The overall conclusion is that considered experts hold similar views concerning certain aspects in the relations such as overall character of the relationship – not really like between friends, nor like between enemies, the USA attempts at forging cooperation with China, PRC suspicion of American goals, the importance of economic growth of China for the Communist Party of China, however differences can be observed concerning multiple issues.
