Tūrisma attīstības tendences Latvijā/Baltijā

Abstract

Tūrismam ir būtiska loma mūsdienu ekonomikā, un arvien vairāk cilvēku ir izvēlējušies Latviju vai Baltijas valstis, kā savu tūrisma galamērķi. Bakalaura darba izstrādes procesā autors pētīja, kāda ir šī brīža situācija tūrismā Baltijas valstīs un kopumā pasaulē. Kādus atvieglojumus sniedz valsts tūrisma sektoram ņemot vērā Covid-19 vīrusa uzliesmojumu. Izmantojot prognozēšanas metodi, autors konstatēja, kas varētu notikt ar tūrismu Latvijā, ja pandēmija turpināsies. Bakalaura darba izstrādes rezultātā autors secina, ka tūrisma attīstībai Baltijas valstīs ir lielāks potenciāls attīstīties pandēmijas laikā.

Tourism plays a very important role in today's economy, and more and more people have chosen Latvia or the Baltic States as their tourist destination. In the process of developing the bachelor's thesis, the author researched the current situation in tourism in the Baltic States and in the world in general. What benefits are provided to the national tourism sector in view of the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus. Using the forecasting method, the author found out what could happen to tourism in Latvia if the pandemic continues. As a result of the development of the bachelor's thesis, the author concludes that the development of tourism in the Baltic States has a greater potential to develop during a pandemic.
