The work deals with up a group environment to promote self- directed learning for children aged 3 to 4 years. The aim of the work is to develp and bury recommenditions for the development of self- directed learning skills for children of 3- 4 years. Analyse the views of different authors on the learning and playing process in a multi faceted and evolving environment. In the second part, the author examines the learning environment that is conductive to self- directed learning, the motivation for learning in an established environment, physical and emotionam security within the group. In the third part, the author, based on theoretical analysis, studies the self- directed learning skills of children, targets the group environment and compares self-directed learning skills before and after the group’s placement. The author concludes that targeting the environment of the group, using teaching materials relevant to the interests of children and the subject, placing them in places accessible to the child and enabling children to work for themselves, promotes self-driving learning processes and skills. It is important that children know where the materials are and are interested in working with them. Key words: Self- guided learning skills, placement of learning environments, teaching materials, children aged 3-4.
