Temata izvēli ietekmēja novērojumi, ka pirmsskolas izglītības iestādes sagatavošanas grupā jau tiek novērota liela bērnu nepatika pret lasīšanu. Problēmjautājums ir kā veicināt bērnu interesi lasītprasmes īstenošanai? Mērķis: teorētiski un praktiski pētīt un analizēt skaņas un burta saiknes veidošanos 5 un 6 gadus vecu bērnu lasītprasmes sekmēšanai. Uzdevumi: Teorētiski analizēt pedagoģisko un psiholoģisko literatūru par lasītprasmes sākumposmu, skaņas un burta saiknes veidošanos. Izzināt dažādu metožu un pieeju nozīmīgumu bērnu lasītprasmes sekmēšanai, intereses veicināšanai. Veikt pedagoģiskos vērojumus un analizēt teorijas saikni ar praktisko pieredzi. Iegūtie rezultāti ataino, to , ka bērni katrs savā attīstības tempā apgūst sev interesējošo, darbojoties brīvi un nepiespiesti, izmantojot dažādas skolotāju piedāvātās darbības un materiālus bez mehāniskas burtu un lasītprasmes apguves.
