Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Identitātes konstruēšana un privātums sociālajā tīklā Instagram.com: Latvijas jauniešu auditorijas analīze”. Darbs sastāv no ievada, teorētiskās, metodoloģiskās un empīriskās daļas, kā arī secinājumiem. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, ar kādu savu personīgo informāciju sociālā tīkla lietotāji ir gatavi dalīties, un vai ir informēti par privātuma politiku un citām ar datu drošību saistītām niansēm. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tika izvēlētas un apskatītas teorijas par sociālo mediju attīstību, sociālo identitāti, identitāti digitālajā vidē, sociālās identitātes nozīmi ar Ērvinga Gofmaņa dramaturģisko pieeju, kā arī sevis prezentēšanas teorijas. Darba metodoloģiskajā daļā apkopotas teorijas par kvalitatīvo un kvantitatīvo kontentanalīzi, kā arī aptaujas un intervēšanas metodi. The theme of the bachelor’s thesis is “Privacy and the construction of identity on Instagram.com: Analysis of Latvian youth audience”. The thesis consists of introduction, theoretical part, methodological and empirical part, as well as conclusion. The aim of the thesis is to find out what personal information social network users are willing to share, and whether they are aware of privacy policies and other nuances related to data security. Theoretical part of the thesis deals with social media development, social identity, identity in the digital environment, as well as self-presentation theories. Methodological part of the thesis deals with theories about qualitative and quantitative content analysis, survey and interviews.
