Jābūt atbalstam arī no vadības puses Training content and access are currently being developed in Latvia. Meanwhile, joint learning by teachers is important, so that every student develops a deep, interdisciplinary understanding, develops his/her skills continuously in a thorough manner. School administration have to think about how to organize and manage teachers’ co-operation with the colleagues in a positive way. The aim of the present master's paper is to explore the need and motivation for teachers’ cooperation to develop recommendations for the further development of the cooperation at school. As part of the master's work, a case study was done at X School. 17 educators were involved in the above mentioned case study. Analysing the literature on the role of a teacher at school as well as the motivation to co-operate, the teachers’ survey concludes that co-operation of teachers can take place during the planning process, while observing the lessons and providing feedback. In order to make the co-operation effective, it is necessary to know the purpose in advance, it will help to provide professional feedback. In order to be motivated to cooperate, motivators for teachers are needed. There must also be a support from the school adminitration.
