The theme of the bachelor's thesis is “The impact of 24-hour shift work on the psycho-emotional and physical well-being of nurses in the intensive care unit". In order to obtain full-fledged data, the author has chosen to conduct research with a qualitative research method- interview questions. Respondents are eight nurses in a specific inpatient intensive care unit who work 24-hour shift work. The bachelor's thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of study clarifies the explanation of the concept of well-being, the factors influencing psycho-emotional and physical well-being and their consequences, the specifics of intensive care nurses work, as well as what is the 24-hour shift work in medicine.
