Author of the qualification paper: Jolanta Krievāne Subject of the qualification paper: Promoting a sense of balance in movement games of older preschool children. Research goal: To theoretically analyze and practically study the possibilities of promoting balance in movement games for 6-7 year old children. The first chapter theoretically introduces the concept of balance, the physical development of children this specific age group and its significance. The main focus is on how children can develop a sense of balance through movement games. In the second chapter, an empirical study was conducted on how movement games can help the promotion of a sense of balance for older preschool children. Initial analysis and observations were made in early February, as well as a collaboration and interviews with a sports teacher. The level of children's sense of balance was assessed. The development of cooperation skills was promoted through movement games and thus a comparative analysis was conducted. In the empirical part, the hypothesis was confirmed, taking into account the set of conditions that the sense of balance for children will be promoted if they have the opportunity to participate in various movement games. The obtained results show that using movement games can promote the development of children's sense of balance, which is manifested in specific skills. Therefore, it can be stated that the hypothesis put forward at the beginning of the study has been confirmed. Keywords: balance, development of balance, movement games, physical development, cooperation. The qualification paper consists of 40 pages, incl. - 2 tables, 12 photos, 3 appendices 40 List of References.
