Slimības uztveres saistība ar subjektīvo labklājību un sociālo atbalstu cilvēkiem ar artrītu

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis bija izpētīt slimības uztveres saistību ar subjektīvās labklājības rādītājiem cilvēkiem ar artrītu. Kā viens no subjektīvo labklājību ietekmējošiem faktoriem šai darbā izcelts saslimšanas fakts, kas slimības uztveres (perception of illness) kontekstā skatīts gan no simptomu parādīšanās, diagnozes uzstādīšanas, gan kā adaptēšanās slimības ietekmes sfērām. Tika izmantotas apmierinātības ar dzīvi skala (Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS); Diener, Emmons, Larsen, & Griffin, 1985), slimības uztveres skala (Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire (Brief IPQ); Weinman, Broadbent, Main, Petrie, 2006) un atbalsta novērtēšanas skala. Pētījumā iegūtie dati norāda uz statistiski nozīmīgu saistību starp subjektīvo labklājību un slimības uztveri, kas liecina, ka jo augstāka apmierinātība ar dzīvi, jo pozitīvāka slimības uztvere un otrādi.

The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to study the relationship between perception of illness and subjective well-being indicators in people with arthritis. One of the factors influencing subjective well-being for this work is the fact of illness, which in the context of perception of illness is viewed both without the appearance of symptoms, diagnosis, and as adaptation to disease spheres. Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS; Diener, Emmons, Larsen, & Griffin, 1985), Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire (Brief IPQ); Weinman, Broadbent, Main, Petrie, 2006) and social support scale. The data from the study indicate a statistically significant relationship between subjective well-being and perception of illness, suggesting that the higher the life satisfaction, the lower the disease perception (lower perception of illness rates indicate a more positive perception of illness).
