Apmierinātība ar attiecībām un piesaiste romantisko partneru pāriem

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai pastāv saistība starp romantisko partneru savstarpējo apmierinātību ar attiecībām un viņu piesaistes stilu kombinācijām pārī, papildus aplūkojot arī attiecību ilguma, bērnu esamības ģimenē un laulību fakta saistību ar apmierinātību ar attiecībām. Pētījumā piedalījās 89 romantisko pāru abi partneri, kuri vismaz gadu ir romantiskajās attiecībās, sievietes vecumā 20-65 gadiem (M=30,39, SD=8,92), vīrieši vecumā 21-74 gadiem (M=32,93, SD=9,92). Tika veikts kvantitatīvs – korelatīvs un salīdzinošs pētījums, izmantojot Attiecību stilu aptauju (Bartholomew, & Horowitz, 1991, I. Bites adaptācijā, 2002), kā arī Apmierinātības ar partnerattiecībām skalu (Blum, & Mehrabian, 1999, I. Mizānes adaptācijā, 2006). Netika atklātas statistiski nozīmīgas saistības starp pāra partneru piesaistes stilu dažādām kombinācijām un savstarpējo apmierinātību ar attiecībām; vienīgo statistiski nozīmīgo saistību atklājot starp kopējo apmierinātību ar attiecībām un abu partneru drošās piesaistes stila novērtējumu – jo augstāk partneri kopā ir novērtējuši savu piederību drošajam piesaistes stilam, jo augstāka ir arī savstarpējā apmierinātība ar attiecībām. Kopējā apmierinātība ar attiecībām nav saistīta ar to, vai attiecības ir oficiāli reģistrētas, taču tendenču līmenī parādās, ka pāra apmierinātība ar attiecībām ir augstāka, ja ģimenē nav bērnu, kā arī tendenču līmenī apmierinātība ar attiecībām ir negatīvi saistīta ar attiecību ilgumu. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a link between the romantic partners' mutual satisfaction with their relationship and the combinations of their attachment styles, as well as to find out if there are any relationship between the duration of the relationship, the presence of children in the family, the fact of marriage and the satisfaction with the relationship. Both partners from 89 romantic couples participated in the study, women aged 20-65 (M=30,39, SD=8,92), man aged 21-74 (M=32,93, SD=9,92). A quantitative - correlative and comparative study was conducted using the The Relationship Questionaire (Bartholomew, & Horowitz, 1991; I. Bite adaption, 2002), as well as The Comprehensive Marital Satisfaction Scale (Blum, & Mehrabian, 1999, I. Mizāne adaptation, 2006). Results of the study showed that there was no statistically significant correlation between different combinations of both partners' attachment styles and relationship satisfaction; revealing the only statistically significant correlation between relationship satisfaction and the assessment of both partners' secure attachment style - meaning the higher both partners evaluated their belonging to the secure attachment style, the higher their mutual satisfaction with the relationship was. It was found that there is no difference in relationship satisfaction, regardless of whether the relationship is officially registered or not; trend level showed that the couple's relationship satisfaction may be higher when there are no children in the family, and trend level also showed that relationship satisfaction was negatively correlated with the duration of the relationship.
