Abstract
Mangusa I. (2021). Pedagoga profesijas prestiža paaugstināšanas iespējas Latvijā. Maģistra darbs. Darba vadītājs: Dr.phys., profesors Andris Grīnfelds. Rīga: Latvijas Universitāte, Pedagoģijas, psiholoģijas un mākslas fakultāte, 65 lpp. 29 att. 61 bibl. nos. latviešu, krievu un angļu val. Darbs sastāv no ievada, 2 daļām – teorētiskās un pētnieciskās daļas, nobeiguma, secinājumiem un vadlīnijām darba beigās un 2 pielikumiem. Darba mērķis: izpētīt pedagoga profesijas prestižu ietekmējošos faktorus un izstrādāt vadlīnijas pedagoga profesijas prestiža paaugstināšanai. Pētījuma uzdevumi: 1.Teorētiski analizēt pedagoga profesijas prestiža būtību un to veidojošos un ietekmējošos faktorus; 2.Raksturot pedagoga profesijas prestiža attīstības tendences Latvijā; 3.Pētīt un analizēt pedagogu profesijas prestiža uzlabošanas iespējas jauniešu un skolotāju vidē; 4.Izstrādāt vadlīnijas pedagoga profesijas prestiža uzlabošanas veicināšanai Latvijā. Izmantotās pētījumu metodes: •Teorētiskā metode: pētījumu un zinātniskās literatūras analīze par profesijas prestiža veidošanos un to ietekmējošiem faktoriem. •Kvantitatīvā metode: – autores izstrādāta modificēta aptaujas anketa pedagogiem; –autores izstrādāta modificēta aptaujas anketa skolēniem. •Statistikas zinātnes pētījumu metode: – Pētījumu datu eksplikācija, lai uzskatāmāk parādītu iegūtos rezultātus.

The work consists of an introduction, 2 parts - theoretical and research part, final, conclusions and guidelines at the end of the work and 2 annexes. The aim of the work: to find out about the factors influencing the prestige of the teaching profession and to develop guidelines for increasing the prestige of the teaching profession. The task of the work: 1.Theoretical analyse of the prestige of the teaching profession essence and the factors forming and influencing it; 2.Describe development trends of the prestige of the teaching profession; 3.Study and analyse opportunities for improving the prestige of the teaching profession in the youth and teacher environment; 4.Develop guidelines for promoting the prestige of the teaching profession in Latvia. Methods used at work: •Theoretical method - analyse the essence of the prestige of the teaching profession and the factors forming and influencing it. •Quantitative method: •Modified questionnaire for teachers developed by author; •Modified questionnaire for students developed by author. •The method of statical science studies: •Dissemination of research data in order to demonstrate the results obtained more clearly.
