Ekoloģiskā intelekta saistība ar ekoloģisko apzinātību

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis bija izpētīt ekoloģiskā intelekta un ekoloģiskās apzinātības jēdzienus psiholoģijas zinātnes kontekstā, kā arī noskaidrot, kāda veida saistība pastāv starp abiem šiem jēdzieniem. Maģistra darba pētījumā piedalījās 141 respondents vecumā no 19 līdz 81 gadam. Respondenti aizpildīja elektronisku anketu, ko veidoja 3 aptaujas: Ekoloģiskā intelekta skala (The ecological intelligence scale (EIS), Akuzzu, 2016), Jaunā ekoloģiskā paradigma (New Ecological Paradigm: A Revised NEP Scale, Dulnlap et al., 2000), pārskatītā versija (Zariņa, 2020) un sociodemogrāfisko datu aptauja. Pētījuma ietvaros tika veikta aptaujas „Ekoloģiskā intelekta skala” (The ecological intelligence scale (EIS), Akuzzu, 2016) tulkošana un tās psihometrisko rādītāju novērtēšana. Izmantojot Ekoloģiskā intelekta skalas un Jaunās ekoloģiskās paradigmas aptaujas, tika atklātas saistības starp ekoloģiskā intelekta un ekoloģiskās apzinātības jēdzieniem. Vienlaikus tika fiksēti arī autentiskie faktori, kas piemīt katram no jēdzieniem. Pētījums apstiprināja, ka jēdzieni nav sinonīmi, kaut arī starp abu aptauju vairākām skalām uzrādījās statistiski nozīmīgas saistības. Salīdzinot Ekoloģiskā intelekta skalas rādītājus ar sociodemogrāfisko datu aptauju, tika iegūta arī informācija par dažādiem sociodemogrāfiskajiem rādītājiem (vecums, dzimums, izglītības līmenis, ikmēneša ienākumu līmenis, vecāka statuss, nodarbinātības statuss, pārtikas patērēšanas paradumi), kuri ir saistīti ar ekoloģiskā intelekta rādītājiem.

The aim of this Master's thesis was to study the concepts of ecological intelligence and ecological awareness in the context of the science of psychology, as well as to study relationship between these two concepts. 141 respondents aged 19 to 81 participated in the study. Respondents completed an electronic questionnaire consisting of 3 surveys: The Ecological Intelligence Scale (Akuzzu, 2016), The New Ecological Paradigm: A Revised NEP Scale (Dulnlap et al., 2000), revised version (Zariņa, 2020) and a survey of socio-demographic data. The study included the translation of the survey “The Ecological Intelligence Scale” (Akuzzu, 2016) and the evaluation of its psychometric indicators. Applying the surveys Ecological Intelligence Scale and the New Ecological Paradigm there were positive correlations revealed among concepts of ecological intelligence and ecological awareness. Also authentic factors inherent in each of the concepts were identified. The study indicated that the concepts are not synonymous, although there were statistically significant correlations between the two concepts within several factors. Comparing the indicators of the Ecological Intelligence Scale with the sociodemographic data survey, there were also connections found between various sociodemographic indicators (age, gender, education level, monthly income level, parental status, employment status, food consumer habits) and indicators of ecological intelligence.
