Ksenofobijas cēloņi un izpausmes Japānas sabiedrībā

Abstract

Maģistra darbs “Ksenofobijas cēloņi un izpausmes Japānas sabiedrībā” dod ieskatu par ksenofobiju Japānas sabiedrībā. Šī darba tēma tika izvelēta, lai izpētītu Japānas sabiedrības attieksmi pret minoritātēm un parādīt, ka japāņiem piemīt ksenofobiskā attieksme pret “citiem”. Maģistra darba galvenais mērķis ir ne tikai apskatīt ksenofobijas cēloņus un izpausmēs Japānas sabiedrībā un definēt kādas iedzīvotāju grupas tiek diskriminētas, bet arī apskatīt ksenofobijas izskaušanas stratēģijas un pasākumus, kurus bija veikusi Japānas valdība, lai uzlabotu situāciju, un to rezultātus. Neskatoties uz to, ka Japānas valdība veic ksenofobijas izskaušanas pasākumus, diskriminācijas un ksenofobijas problēma joprojām pastāv sabiedrībā. Darbs sastāv no četrām daļām. Pirmajā daļā tiks apskatīts ksenofobijas jēdziens. Otrā daļā ir veltīta ksenofobijas cēloņiem. Trešajā daļā tiks apskatīti ksenofobijas izpausmes, ar kurām ir saskarušās diskriminētās grupas. Ceturtajā daļā tiks apskatīti ksenofobijas izskaušanas pasākumi. Darba apjoms ir 61 lapaspuse.

The Master's thesis “The Causes and Manifestations of Xenophobia in Japanese Society” provides an insight into xenophobia in Japanese society. The topic of this work was chosen to research the attitude of the Japanese society towards minorities and to demonstrate that the Japanese have a xenophobic attitude towards “others”. The main goal of the Master's thesis is not only to investigate the causes and manifestations of xenophobia in Japanese society and define which groups are discriminated, but also to analyse the xenophobia eradication strategies and measures taken by the Japanese government to improve the situation, as well as the results of these strategies. Despite the Japanese government's efforts to eradicate xenophobia, the problem of discrimination and xenophobia persists in the society. The work consists of four parts. The first part discusses the concept of xenophobia. The second part is dedicated to the causes of xenophobia. The third part is dedicated to the manifestations of xenophobia faced by discriminated groups. The fourth part analyses the measures to eradicate xenophobia. The thesis consists of 61 pages.
