Darba tēma ir “Izaicinājumi sociālā tīkla vietnes Facebook lietotāju medijpratībai: jauniešu pieredzes un paradumu analīze”. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt sociālā tīkla vietnes Facebook lietotāju saskarsmi ar medijpratību saistītiem izaicinājumiem, analizējot Facebook lietošanas pieredzi un paradumus. Teorijas nodaļā tiek aplūkotas teorētiskās atziņas par informācijas jeb zināšanu plaisas teoriju un kognitīvās disonanses teoriju. Empīrisko datu ieguves metode ir 10 daļēji strukturētās intervijas. Pētījumā secināts, ka jauniešu pieredzē viltus ziņām novērojamas tādas izpausmes kā maldinoši virsraksti, manipulācija ar faktiem un atsauču trūkums. Algoritmam novērojamas izpausmes ar ierakstu piedāvājumiem “Ieteikts Tev”, iepriekš meklētā informācijas un satura atkārtošanās. “Filtra burbuļa” izpausmes ir sociālās fragmentācijas samazināšanās. The aim of the work is to explore the social networking site Facebook users exposure to media literacy challenges by analyzing the experience and habits of using Facebook. The theory chapter examines the theoretical findings in knowledge gap theory and cognitive dissonance theory. The method of obtaining empirical data is 10 semi –structured interviews. The study concludes that youth experiences of fake news include misleading headlines, manipulation of facts and lack of references. The algorithm has manifestations with "Recommended for you" offers, previously searched information and repetition of content.
